I had the original cast recording of the 1954  musical, and the music and romantic flavor of the show was delightful.&lt;br /&gt;The cast and the songs were joyful.&lt;br /&gt;Ezio Pinza was magnificent! Wish I could have been there to see this current production. Thanks for writing such a detailed report.</description>

		<description>My first exposure was the 1961 film adaptation, which I haven&#039;t watched in about ten years but would like to see again (it was a big critical success, even earning a Best Picture nomination). Now that I&#039;m well versed with both, I&#039;d like to see the original Pagnol trilogy.</description>
